Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials through our authentication provider (Google OAuth via Supabase). We do not store your Google password.
Content You Upload
When you use StoryBirdie, you may upload screenplays (PDF, DOCX, or Fountain files). We process these files to provide our services, including script analysis, shot list generation, and storyboard frame generation. Your uploaded content is stored securely and is only accessible to you.
Usage Data
We collect information about how you interact with our services, including pages visited, features used, actions taken (such as edits to shot lists and storyboards), and timestamps. This data helps us improve the product.
Device and Browser Information
We automatically collect device type, browser type, operating system, IP address, and referral URLs through analytics tools (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity).

5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Microsoft Azure infrastructure. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your content is restricted to your authenticated account. We do not sell your data to third parties.
6. Your Content and Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of all content you upload to StoryBirdie, including screenplays, shot lists, and storyboard frames you create or modify. We do not claim ownership of your content. We process your content solely to provide the services you requested.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data and account
- Export your content (storyboard PDFs, screenplays)
- Withdraw consent for data processing
