1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StoryBirdie ("the Service"), operated by StoryBirdie ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

StoryBirdie is an AI-powered storyboarding platform that helps directors and filmmakers create storyboards from screenplays. The Service includes screenplay analysis, shot list generation, storyboard frame generation, and PDF export capabilities.

3. Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you upload, create, or modify using StoryBirdie, including screenplays, shot lists, and storyboard frames. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You represent that you have the right to upload any content you submit to the Service, including screenplays, and that your use of the Service does not infringe any third-party rights.

5. AI-Generated Content

StoryBirdie uses artificial intelligence to generate script analyses, shot lists, and storyboard frames. AI-generated content is provided as a creative starting point and may require your review and editing. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.

You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all AI-generated content before using it in your productions.

6. Credits and Billing

StoryBirdie operates on a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when you use AI features such as script analysis, shot list generation, and storyboard frame generation. Credit costs vary by feature. Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. All paid plans include a 7-day free trial. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to generate illegal content
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models or algorithms
• Use automated tools to excessively access the Service beyond normal use
• Share your account credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written permission

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, AI models, branding, and documentation, is owned by StoryBirdie and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without our permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoryBirdie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your specific needs.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your content before termination.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
